DescriptionAdding a mid-level Nurse Practitioner to our large cardiology practice. Perform exams, order tests and diagnostic procedures, and interpret data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed. Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of the patients. Administer medications and injections, advise and instruct patients and family members. Provide hospital consults and advise providers within scope of practice.RequirementsMust have successfully completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program; Master's Degree required.Nurse Practitioner License issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing required, and Certification issued by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board required.BLS and ACLS required. Minimum of 3 years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting preferred.
