As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Salina, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Assist with the implementation and enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control. Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors and staff in a professional manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities promptly to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
