Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for modeling the 3 Company values of Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence, and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the Company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The HRIS Analyst provides daily Human Resources Information System (HRIS) support to both home office departments and end-users in the field. S/he develops, tests, implements, and maintains data and processes within the HRIS. S/he is responsible for configuring and maintaining the HRIS workflows to align with Company practices and needs. S/he develops reports and dashboards in the HRIS to support business decisions. S/he supports end-users by creating, leading, and maintaining system training to give all internal customers a consistent and user-friendly experience.

Position Specific Responsibilities
  • Collaborates directly with internal stakeholders to research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Identifies areas of improvement within HR systems and works with the HRIS team to develop streamlined processes to maximize system efficiency.
  • Creates new and modifies existing Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics based on business requirements and provides analysis and interpretation of report data as required.
  • Partners with the HRIS team and internal stakeholders to develop test scripts for system improvements to ensure a smooth transition to the live HRIS environment.
  • Executes, supports, and maintains configurations, transactions, and updates to support the business.
  • Maintains HRIS job aids and workflow documentation for end users.
  • Assesses system or business issues and utilize critical-thinking skills to present potential solutions.
  • Monitors system performance and overall system integrity.
  • Researches biannual Workday releases for changes that will impact current business practices. Evaluate new features/functions for rollout to end-users and recommend solutions/alternatives to mitigate business risk relative to these changes.
  • Executes and assists with system-related tasks for special projects and acquisitions.
  • Engages with the online Workday Community to find solutions and suggestions from other customers, stay apprised of new features, and present system improvement ideas.
  • Performs compliance audits as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of practical experience required.
  • Workday experience preferred.
Skills
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, colleagues, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces hospice philosophy.
