Why Medline?53+ years of consecutive growth550,000+ products and countingMore than 20,000 employees spanning the globeNo.1 privately held manufacturer & distributor of health care products in the U.S.1,600 and growing sales representativesacross the continuum of careMedical, Dental, Vision & Rx plan401k with company matchWhy Medline Sales?Lucrative Incentive Driven Earnings Potential Proven Training InfrastructureEntrepreneurial Work EnvironmentCompany Credit Card, Cell Phone, and LaptopFlexible Paid Time OffThe Regional Territory Sales Representative is responsible for selling various medical products and solutions to customers within their sales market, and within a territory comprised of accounts located within a predetermined region.Medline Regional Territory Sales Rep is measured by year over year sales growth with quota and incentive program achievement.Must travel a minimum of 3 days per week in their regional territory.Opportunities include but are not limited to:Calling on the post-acute care market including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies and medical equipment providers;Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers including owners, senior clinical officers and purchasing managers;Selling products that include incontinence, skin care, DME, advance wound care and gloves;Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline's very large product catalog and numerous value added programs and services;Developing meaningful relationships with new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones;Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities;Presenting new products and initiatives; educating customers on current industry trends and regulations;Preparing bids and negotiating contractsTaking ownership and leadership of your territory growing it like your own businessCOVID-19 VaccinationPlease be aware that Medline requires all employees starting in this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.This position will require the successful candidate to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated by their start date.Medline is an equal opportunity employer, and will provide reasonable accommodations to those individuals who are unable to be vaccinated for COVID-19 consistent with federal, state, and local law.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree and at least2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience ORat least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experienceRelevant Work ExperienceAbility to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization;Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business; build consensusComplex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels;Background in commissioned, tangible product sales;Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment;Ability to present multiple product lines;Excellent communication and organizational skills;Stable work history;Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Medline offers an entrepreneurial work environment with strong growth potential; a competitive compensation package; a complete benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life insurance; 401(k) with company match and much moreThe anticipated compensation for this position includes a $75,000 minimum base salary.
