Weekday Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for supplying an assembly line or department with the necessary parts used in the production of our innovative, high-quality refrigeration products. We have a great deal to offer: 5% employer match on 6% employee contribution to 401(k), pay progression review 12 months after hire date, holiday pay, first- year paid vacation of up to 40 hours, and health insurance eligibility the first of the month, following hire date. In addition, earn a monthly production bonus of up to one (1) extra dollar for every hour worked in a month for reaching production targets
Current Shift Available:
1. Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (10 hrs.) - Starting hourly rate from $13.50 up to $20.50, corresponding with experience
What You'll Do:
- Provide production departments with material from inventory
- Band, wrap and/or pack/unpack Raw Material, and label material
- Build Kit Carts
- Maintain accurate paperwork and production records
- Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate forklifts (training provided)
- Operate scan guns and computer
- Load/unlock trucks
- Receive and stage parts from several methods of delivery - e.g., Picklist, Kanban, etc.
- Move objects up to 50 pounds
- Stand for prolonged periods
- Ascend and descend stairs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one year of material handling or warehouse experience
- Prior forklift experience is a plus
- Computer Competency - you are familiar with Microsoft Windows and are comfortable with navigating through screens and reading/responding to email
- Safety Mindfulness - you actively notice new things, think while you are working, and plan ahead what you will do next
- Attention to detail - you pay attention to the little things that make a difference
- Teamwork - you work well with others and like to collaborate

Work Environment:
- High temperatures (in summer);
- Mandatory overtime to meet customer demand, as needed
