What You Will Do: We are looking for an Oracle Systems Administrator to join our HNI team. In this role, you will provide system administrator support for a full suite of Oracle EBS on-prem applications, managing users, defining roles and responsibilities, and managing access, privileges, and licenses. Who You Are: Our ideal candidate is an Oracle EBS Analyst with hands on, front-end experience configuring Oracle applications, with some understanding of how the applications manage roles, responsibilities, and privileges, etc. Our ideal candidate may also be an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with a solid understanding of account creation, provisioning, administration, and access management. In addition to hands-on mentorship and training, HNI will provide a one-year license to Oracle University. That makes this role an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their experience and understanding of Oracle ERP applications. What You Will Do: User Management and System Security - Design, define and implement roles, responsibilities, and other privilege and access control measures within Oracle EBS, in partnership with IT leadership.
- Manage User Accounts, assigning and removing access, as needed.
- Monitor and manage user license utilization.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve root causes.
- Maintain overall platform security through role-based security, user profiles, and thoughtfully defined security levels, and patches, etc.
- Monitor system access logs and report suspicious activity; proactively identify and mitigate security threats.
- Operate within IT security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring user profiles, creating and reviewing security violation reports, and investigating security exceptions.
- Execute day-to-day management of attributes and entitlements to digital identities and accounts, as required.
- Setup configurations like SSO, AD to OUD Synch, SSL, and certificate key stores.
- Account Administration / Provisioning (add/change/delete) in Active Directory.
- Account Administration / Provisioning (add/change/delete) across on multiple security architectures and within multiple secure applications.
- Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide support and troubleshooting to end-users.
- Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units and third-party business partners to assist in addressing and resolving IT related application issues.
- Manage, document, and respond to user support requests through HNIs IT ticketing system.
- Provide problem resolution to customers and ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Build knowledge base articles and create/maintain operational how-to documentation and provide user-training, as needed.
- A bachelors degree in computer science or information systems or technology.
- Experience as an Oracle Applications System Administrator, Oracle Database Administrator or similar role.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion, or Oracle Identity Manager Applications architecture and components (preferred).
- Experience with Oracle database administration and SQL scripting.
- Working withing guidelines for release, change, incident and problem management, and project management (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC) frameworks.
- Advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and technical knowledge of PC hardware and software products.
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities (root cause analysis and problem resolution).
- Demonstrates professional behavior when communicating and working with members, vendors and/or customers.? Clearly and concisely expresses professional opinions with supporting rationale.
