Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Industrial Engineer, Warehousing to support the Supply Chain team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met.

This role will be responsible for spearhead improvements in our warehousing and distribution processes, playing a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain logistics. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze warehousing layouts and systems to optimize storage efficiency and product flow
  • Implement warehouse process improvement strategies, focusing on reducing waste and enhancing the quality of product handling and storage
  • Conduct detailed time studies and develop performance standards for warehousing activities
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to streamline warehousing operations
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to improve inventory management and reduce transportation costs, ensuring efficient logistics practices
  • Drive sustainability efforts within warehousing operations, aiming to minimize environmental impact through innovative solutions
  • Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions and process enhancements in warehousing and distribution
  • Work across teams to address complex challenges and enhance overall operational efficiency in the warehousing domain
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in warehousing engineering, applying best practices relevant to the beverage industry
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
  • Knowledge of predetermined time study methods
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Suite
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and warehousing management software tools
  • Passionate about sustainability and innovation within the warehousing sector of the food and beverage industry
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
