Responsibilities
You will partner with Engineering, Finance, IT, People & Culture (HR) and many other teams to understand their requirements, synthesize them and work with the IT team to build global scalable solutions
This role will be responsible for developing and executing manual as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality
You will work with developers to write automation and maintain testing infrastructure
You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system
You will design end-to-end solutions—not just features—by developing an understanding of how Stitch Fix works
You will own programs, projects and influence our direction
Your team will collaborate with business partners to define product requirements, plans, and deliverables
You will impact the business in tangible, visible ways that and always have a seat at the table
In this role as a QA Engineer you will provide an end-to-end testing / QA solution for applications in the Enterprise Applications & Insights
You will estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities in partnership with our engineering, finance and IT teams
You will plan, create and manage the overall Quality Assurance strategy
You will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved along with creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

About the Role
We are looking for a QA engineer for the Enterprise Applications and Insights team. On this team, we are focused on delivering solutions that enable our finance team to be successful. You will partner with Engineering, Finance, IT, People & Culture (HR) and many other teams to understand their requirements, synthesize them and work with the IT team to build global scalable solutions. This role will be responsible for developing and executing manual as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality. As a QA engineer you will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities. You will work with developers to write automation and maintain testing infrastructure. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.
