Job Description

This position follows a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office at the Westfield Center, OH office.

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach who is deeply familiar with a variety of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and has a proven track record of working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for agile principles and possess the ability to guide teams and organizations through the complexities of agile transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Coach multiple teams across the organization in adopting Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe principles and practices, ensuring that they are understood and enacted.
  • Facilitate the organization's transition to a lean-agile mindset, helping to create an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Work with teams to implement effective agile metrics that track progress and performance, providing visibility and transparency across the organization.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching to enhance agile knowledge and competence across all levels of the organization.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of the organization's agile processes, ensuring they align with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to embed agile values and principles into the organizational culture, fostering an environment of innovation and adaptability.
  • Act as a change agent, identifying organizational impediments to successful agile adoption and working with teams to overcome them.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in an Agile environment with at least 3 years as an Agile Coach with a strong background in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe methodologies.
  • Certification in Agile Coaching (e.g., ICP-ACC, CEC) and/or SAFe (e.g., SPC, RTE) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile project management tools, and agile/lean metrics.
  • Experience in leading organizational change initiatives and managing resistance to change.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels of the organization.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
