The Opportunity:

Avantor, a Global Fortune 500 company is looking for dedicated Cleanroom Technicians to optimize our Biopharma Manufacturing Operations organization. This Devens, MA, role is full-time, on- site working:

First shift (Monday- Thursday 5:30 AM- 4:00 PM) or

Second shift (Monday - Thursday 3:45 PM- 2:15 AM) or

Third shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM)

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • High School or equivalent (GED)

Required Experience (1+ year):

  • Building, cleaning, and packaging single-use assemblies per Engineering Process Records (EPR), drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE's) and reporting all near miss and first aid events.
  • Maintaining daily organization (6S) and cleanliness of work area and common areas.
  • Assisting with inventory accuracy by following procedures for non-conformance reporting and returning unused parts and components to stock in sealed bags with part number and lot traceability.
  • Meeting internal manufacturing schedules, which drive on-time delivery.
  • Completing assemblies within the allotted time stated on the work order.
  • Lifting 50 lbs. minimum
  • Collaboration Tools (IE: Microsoft Office)
  • Preferred Experience:

  • Following cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to maintain ISO Class 7 environment.
  • Improvement process and following appropriate change control procedures.
  • Escalating potential process and/or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns.
  • Participating and working within ISO 9001:2015 quality standards guidelines in all manufacturing areas in accordance with company quality goals.
  • Completing/sign-off of EPRs for each operation completed during the assembly.
  • Working in a cleanroom environment
  • Interpreting engineering drawings
  • Lean manufacturing
  • Following site protocols, policies and procedures
  • Problem-solving
  • Conduct cleanroom gowning per procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
