Accent provides refreshment services in the workplace through breakrooms, cafeterias, vending machines, and self-checkout markets.
Our Accounting Team is currently hiring a **Senior Accountant** at our Austin, TX office. As a key member of the organization, our Senior Accountants focus will be on accounting for inventory and cost of goods sold for Accent Food Services. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position will participate in established accounting deadlines, develop new processes and procedures, act as a financial liaison to various business units, and serve as a senior financial leader within the organization.
**Responsibilities:**
* Team with Manager of Accounting to drive the monthly closing process and meet deadlines
* Prepare robust account reconciliations and account analysis
* Assist with monthly internal reporting, including budget versus actual flux analysis
* Inventory and COGS

book monthly cost of goods sold entries, and prepare monthly inventory variance analysis
* Fixed Assets

maintain subledger, detailed reconciliation and ensure compliance with companys capitalization and depreciation policies
* Build relationships and financially support internal groups (e.g., regional managers, sales staff)
* Support annual audit and help meet audit deadlines
* Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required
* 5

7 years accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Sage FAS a plus
* Hands-on experience with fixed assets and inventory management
* Self-starter, who can dig in, and tackle projects with limited supervision
