Medical Assistant The Medical Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for patients and guests at the primary care office. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming environment and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. Responsibilities: Greet patients and guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures. Provide patient care and support throughout their healthcare journey. Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and care. Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize patient flow. Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information. Communicate effectively with patients, providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with physicians and medical assistants in a team-oriented environment. Essential Skills: Medical assisting experience of 3-5 years. Strong phlebotomy skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with electronic health records. Customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant - preferred but not required. Experience with eCW EMR is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Organizational skills. Team player with flexibility. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wellington, FL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
