Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing respiratory care to patients suffering from pulmonary disorders. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans based on physician recommendations.
  • Administering respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients progress, adjusting treatments, as necessary.
  • Educating patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Responding to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all treatments and assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
  • Participating in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Certification or licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques, equipment, and procedures.
