Role and Responsibilities:

As a Food Runner at Lasalle Market & Deli, you play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of our dining experience. Your responsibilities include collaborating with kitchen and serving staff to expedite food orders accurately and promptly to customers' tables. With attention to detail, you verify the correctness and presentation of each dish, maintaining our high-quality standards. Effective communication with both the kitchen and servers is key to your success. Interacting with customers in a friendly manner, addressing inquiries, and supporting the cleanliness and organization of the dining area are integral aspects of your role.

  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and servers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food orders to customers' tables.
  • Verify the correctness and presentation of each dish before serving it to the customer, ensuring it meets our quality standards.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the kitchen and servers to ensure a seamless flow of orders.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to special requests, inquiries, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing and resetting tables as needed.

Education Requirements:
