Responsibilities:
About the Role:
As a CDL Class A Driver with us, you???ll be a key player in our logistics team, transporting and delivering essential goods and materials. Your role will involve a variety of tasks that keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What You???ll Do:
Vehicle Care: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is in top condition and safe to operate.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of your working hours and vehicle service, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Delivery Management: Obtain receipts or signatures upon delivery, and handle payment collection as needed.
Load Management: Verify all load-related documentation and ensure completeness and accuracy.
Route Planning: Read and interpret maps to determine the most efficient routes.
Communication: Utilize truck cab computers and telephones to stay connected with supervisors and other team members.
Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and policies as outlined by the Department of Transportation and our management team.
Team Support: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, operating powered MHE equipment as needed, and supporting your team.
Working hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
