#### Security Engineer - Mid/Sr (Remote) ####

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Strong demonstrated experience within the IT Security Sector.
Strong Web Application Security knowledge.
Experience with one of the cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) services, infrastructure, security solutions, databases, and application deployment/maintenance
Working knowledge of Google G-Suite including DLP and Vault

Preferred qualifications:
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Working proficiency in verbal and written English.
Interest and ability to learn other coding languages.

As a Security Engineer, you help protect network boundaries, keep computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and provide security services to protect highly sensitive data like passwords and customer information. You also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

You are a recognized expert in at least two security domains and use your leadership skills to manage a team that sets the direction and goals for solving AnchorLoans-wide problems. You identify fundamental security problems at AnchorLoans and drive major security improvements in AnchorLoans infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for tool/software development adhering to appropriate internal & external safety/security standards
Identify and set new technical directions to improve the development process
Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and common types of vulnerability
Experience with common DevOps tools, CI/CD, builds, etc.
Experience in code analysis (static/dynamic), dependency scanning, or other security automation in a DevOps environment
Test both infrastructure and data systems for vulnerabilities.
Access/implement policies and procedures adhering to various compliances.
Primary on executing/maintaining Anchor's security/training program (Preference to KnowBe4).
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Partner with the engineering team to improve stability, performance, and maintainability
Design and implementation of Layer2 and Layer 3 routing and switching knowledge
Endpoint security policy management (Preference given to CarbonBlack and/or CrowdStrike).
Experience in pen testing, vulnerability management, SIEM, and SOAR.
