We love to watch you grow personally and professionally The specialist will work closely with the healthcare billing and operation teams to ensure patient profile, demographics and authorizations are obtained, maintained, and entered in our system with the highest quality in a timely manner. Obtain initial authorization for all private insurance patients for starts of care. Manage the number of visits authorized and maintain additional authorizations for all patients as clinicians communicate a continued need for service. Correspond with both the therapy contract companies and HCP clinicians regarding insurance Send clinical requests to med records for immediate completion Communicate with intake/scheduling when an SOC or ROC can be scheduled with a clinician. Send needed clinical documentation to insurance companies Coordinate with DON on discharges necessary due to patient running out of insurance benefits. Maintain email accounts assist billing with claim issues on any discrepancies. Coordinate with coding department for required documentation document all communication in HCNet. Other duties as assigned.
