Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow engineering best practices to develop high quality products in a committed team Design, deploy and maintain VoIP based platforms in a cloud environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architecture and technical solutions for Real time Communication platforms Configure and optimize SIP proxies and media services for high availability and QoS Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot issues related to SIP signaling, media transport and WebSocket communication. Work with AWS services - EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, ELB, IAM, DynamoDB, Kinesis, CloudWatch, etc. Contribute towards automation efforts of infrastructure & platforms. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Create and maintain design documentation, configuration, procedures and best practices. Follow stringent security protocols into code development and safeguard against potential vulnerabilities and cyber threats. Use of agile and rapid application development processes to speed engineering efforts Follow engineering best practices in a team environment to develop high-quality, multi-threaded applications, including writing automated unit, component and feature level testing. Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture and the development of product features. Education Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Computer Science or a related area or equivalent work experience Requirements Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols & troubleshooting Strong knowledge of VoIP Platforms such as Kamailio & RTPengine Strong understanding of Linux Operating systems Experience with containerization technologies such as docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes / Amazon EKS Familiarity with IaC & Configuration Management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer Git, GitHub & GitHub Actions.
