Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and DataProduct Engineer PowertrainJob Summary:Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Product Engineer Powertrain. This is a contract position.What You Will Do:Project Purpose: Deliver, validate, and maintain on-board diagnostic (OBD) solutions for powertrain technologies needed to meet global diagnostic regulatory requirements. Project Expectations: Develop and deliver Reliability and Robustness Documentation (DFMEA, P-Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, Calibration Guidelines, Diagnostics Operations Summary, Fault Demonstration Methods) Perform diagnostic routines, report findings and give recommendations to improve system reliability and durability. Perform HIL/SIL, on-road, emissions, and/or dynamometer data collection to validate and calibrate diagnostic monitoring capability of new powertrain technologies. Identify and aid in resolving OBD issues with internal and external stakeholders. Author scripts using Matlab, Python, and/or other scripting languages to analyze system/diagnostic behavior and support the calibration process. Basics:BSEE, BSME and/or BS-Computer Science/Engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proactive and works well independently.Good team player.Excel and Matlab working knowledge.1 year minimum experience in automotive product development.Hybrid position.
