Summit Technologies, Inc.

is looking for an

Infrastructure Project Manager

to join our team supporting a government agency. Current projects include Azure and Microsoft Dynamics migrations, ZTA implementation, NetBackup modernization, mobile device refresh, and upgrading RedHat (RHEL) Windows Server, Desktop operating system, Oracle Database and Middleware. This position requires working 2 days per week on site in Washington, DC. Candidates must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams comprised of Systems Engineers, Test Engineers, Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, project sponsors and others. Oversee the scope, schedule, and quality of performance of IT project teams. Coordinate stakeholder participation. Conduct scrum ceremonies. Assess and mitigate risks. Report progress against plan, and collect lessons learned.

Required Experience and Skills: At least 10 years of project management experience in a technical environment with a variety of IT systems. At least eight years' experience leading the execution of IT projects in a Project or Task Manager role. Must have a broad knowledge of current information technology systems, infrastructures, and technologies. Knowledge and experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, Agile methodology, and the Scrum framework. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a large community of stakeholders. Must possess leadership skills to successfully manage diverse teams.

Experience and Skills:

Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure projects, SDLC and technical experience. Knowledge and experience in Change and Release Management, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS. Working knowledge of network technologies and concepts, Active Directory, Windows OS, Desktop and Cloud applications such as Office365 and SharePoint Online. Experience using Azure DevOps Server software for project management.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Required Certification:

PMI certification.

Security Clearance: Must be eligible for a Public Trust.
