An employer sitting in Southern California is looking to hire a Site Safety Manager, This Manager will be supporting the overall purpose of the FERP (Federal Energy Retrofit Program). This program will be dedicated to providing the Navy/Government with turn-key design, engineering, construction, and project management services, inclusive of associated environmental requirements. This Safety Manager shall perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, and safety enforcement of subcontractors. This role is paying an hourly rate of ($45-55/hr). This will be a full time position Monday - Friday, requiring some days onsite at San Clemente Island.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of previous Safety Construction Management
- 30-hour OSHA Construction safety class or equivalent in the last (5) years
- Obtained a First Aid and CPR Training each year for the past (5) years
- Experience completing Injury or Incident Reporting; Experience with Site Safety Briefing, Accident Prevention Program (APP) and Hazard Analysis Documentation
- EM-385-1-1 Certification
Benefits and Compensation:
$45-55/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
