Purpose:

Team Leaders drive a holistic management culture that oversees department daily production requirements. They embrace shop floor management while monitoring daily production schedules, train employees, follow standard work procedure and respond to line issues. They are also required to perform minor preventative maintenance, machine adjustments and make schedule adjustment when necessary. Nature & Scope:

Team Leaders are required to have good verbal and written communication skills. They must display willingness to work as a team. A team leader is required to have knowledge to work each work station. They must also participate in leadership training. This position requires good working relationship within the facility. External communication is required. This position reports to the Diamond Seal Technology Group Leader.
