Registered Nurse career path level and compensation to commiserate with education and experience.
Responsibilities:- Partner with providers to provide excellent patient care.
- Manage labs, precription refills, prior authorizations and daily patient schedules.
- DIrect patient care including immunizations, medication administration, POCT and patient rooming.
- Knowledge and execution of policies and clinical standards of practice.
- Phone triage specific to clinics.
- Willingness to participate in advanced certification and accreditation opportunities.
- Quality improvement initiatives.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited RN Program required.
- Minimum of one year pediatric health care experience required. Three or more preferred.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:
- BCLS certification
- ACLS Certification preferred.
- Valid Michigan RN license required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge and ability to use the EMR including Epic and Cerner.
- Experience with Outlook, Teams messaging, appointment scheduling and the calendar
- Positive attitude
- Excellent teamwork, willingness to cross train, and flexibility
- Excellent attendance
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize priorities in organization of workflow.
- Able to perform duties independently, with a minimal need for direct supervision.

WMed Health is the clinical practice of the medical school with more than 300 providers offering comprehensive primary care and specialty services in several locations throughout Kalamazoo, Portage, and Battle Creek. The Department of Pathology faculty serve as the Office of the Medical Examiner for counties throughout Michigan and northern Indiana.
The W.E.
