Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in Washington, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of one Saturday per month. Candidates must bring a strong background in community health centers and proficiency in caring for newborns and infants. Job Details Location: Washington Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 80 days Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician Assistant Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; one Saturday per month (negotiable) Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive family practice care, with emphasis on newborn and infant patients Conduct patient examinations, evaluations, and develop treatment plans Deliver acute and chronic care services in a community health center environment Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals Accurately document patient encounters and treatments in Centricity EMR Maintain current certifications and adhere to the highest standards of patient safety Additional Information Minimum 2 years post-residency experience required Experience with babies is essential; lack of newborn experience may disqualify candidates Community health center experience is mandatory Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required WA licensure required Board certification in Family Medicine required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
