CGP: Accountant

Century Group has partnered with a great company in the manufacturing industry who is searching for an Accountant to join their team. This role is a mix of accounting, AP, and AR and will report to the CFO. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $75,000 per year.

Job Description:

Review all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Manage purchase orders and enter invoices into the accounting system (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central) Prepare and process accounts payable checks, eChecks, and wires Reconcile vendor and customer statements, 3-way matching Complete AP and AR month-end and year-end close and account analysis Create and maintain account reconciliation schedules and analysis of the accounts Submit journal entries for approval, including payroll, insurances, month-end accruals and deferrals Prepare bank reconciliations Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely for all entities Maintain all employee files with 100% accuracy, process payroll and human resources changes

Requirements:

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Able to communicate with professionals at all levels Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences Strong planning, organization, problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or related field, or completed certification program in accounting principles Solid computer skills; strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook) Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
