Your Role at YESIn this t role, you will be an essential member of our companys legal department and responsible for ensuring our business operations and procedures comply with licensing requirements and internal policies. In this position, you will perform a range of duties, including having primary responsibility for obtaining and maintaining licenses and permits required to operate the business, evaluating and implementing new licensing requirements, reviewing internal company licensing processes, and leading licensing training sessions. The successful candidate will be highly organized, a quick learner, and an excellent communicator. Knowledge of manufactured home community licensing procedures and regulations or experience with property management is a plus but is not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and track applications for community-related licenses and permits
- Interact with local and state officials regarding license and permit applications
- Review new licensing requirements and implement necessary changes
- Coordinate with community personnel regarding license-related issues
- Perform periodic licensing audits
- Lead employee training sessions on licensing requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience with property licensing or permitting, or similar compliance or regulatory experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization
- Strong technology skills, including ability to learn and maximize new software platforms quickly
