Material handler

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials and products within the warehouse. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

salary: $17 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading materials from transport items, such as trucks, ships, and loading docks
• Inventory: Maintaining inventory records, recording inventory statuses, and ensuring materials are properly labeled and stored
• Deliveries: Making sure deliveries match purchase orders and delivering products to clients
• Equipment: Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and performing routine maintenance on it
• Safety: Following workplace safety regulations and adhering to warehouse safety guidelines
• Cleanliness: Keeping loading areas and machinery clean
