Merchandise Planning System Manager

The Cato Corporation is seeking an experienced Merchandise Planning System Manager to join our IT Department.
JOB SUMMARY:
Full responsibility of the Merchandise Planning and Assortment Planning Systems. Planning methodologies for various business categories. Liaison between business groups and IT.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design,develop, test & implement system solutions to support business needs
- Responsible for ensuring integrity of data within the Planning system.
- Oversee all training and development of planning system users
- Work with IT to identify & prioritize information needs of all Planning organizations.
- Mentors associated staff
- Works with JDA Blue Yonder User Group to prioritize enhancements.
- Maintains Retail Price Management System for all divisions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- JDA Blue Yonder Planning System Administration
- Oracle Retail Merchandising
- Oracle Assortment Planning
- Retail planning
- System testing
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
EDUCATION:
- 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
