We are looking for a Director of Infrastructure to lead a team of engineers and service desk for a healthcare organization. As the Director you will work on a major re-design of the cloud operating model, retire existing data centers, spearhead a CISCO redesign, and reduce dependencies in a high-velocity environment. You will be solely responsible for leading the team, managing a budget, and helping elevate the current infrastructure landscape.

  • Qualifications:10+ years' experience helping to transform IT infrastructure
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, in a complex environment and a background in architecture, systems administration, network administration, cloud services, and storage administration.
  • Direct experience with LAN/WAN/SDWAN, VMWare, O365, Citrix, and Cisco UC is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of standard frameworks and methodologies including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Leadership experience in directing, leading, and mentoring IT professionals
  • Solid project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Demonstrates the business and financial acumen necessary to develop and present ideas and solutions in a clear, concise, and organized manner
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills. Effective in influencing and negotiating to achieve amicable outcomes
  • General knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, & data privacy standards and procedures
  • Ability to effectively deal with work pressure, and maintain a composed and calm attitude
  • Ability to evolve and quickly learn bleeding-edge technologies
  • Day to Day:Lead Datacenter, Network, Telecom, and Endpoint Services teams; reporting to VP, Infrastructure, and Cloud
  • Translates broad business and management programs and projects to the infrastructure team to produce practical/prioritized work plans that lead to the successful implementation of business objectives
  • Drive the short & long-term technical strategy as it pertains to infrastructure.
  • Develop roadmaps and execution plans and be accountable for the outcome of those plans.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders on the completion of projects and roadmaps.
  • Manage data center, telephony, and network operations and teams to enhance network redundancies and resiliency
  • Track, prioritize, and update the status for ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Manage adherence to change management processes to plan, document, and execute system upgrades, changes, and decommissions
  • Ensure proper system documentation and guides for critical processes/systems are kept
  • Assist with IT operational and budgeting responsibilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and build strong partnerships
  • Monitor performance on SLAs through regular review and follow-up on metrics.
  • Work with Cybersecurity to schedule and conduct periodic tests to validate business continuity, data protection, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Ensure operational service gaps are corrected promptly.
