Job Description

The Credentialing Coordinator is accountable for data collection, organization and submission of enrollment applications required by health plans, hospitals and governmental and other regulatory agencies. Works closely with individual practitioners, clinic leadership, Medical Staff, Provider Relations, Human Resources, physician billing office and Epic analysts to facilitate timely payor enrollment for new practitioners and re-enrollment for established practitioners. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes PacMed mission, values, and philosophy.

Required Qualifications:
  • Key experience highlights must include: Organizational and communication skills (written, presentation, listening, and oral); Evidence of ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks of medium complexity; Takes initiative and works independently with minimal guidance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous provider credentialing, healthcare or general office experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
