Summary of Duties:

The Manager of Quality willdevelop and oversee quality management systems in compliance with AS 9100C.

.

Specific Duties:

  • Operations of Quality Department including quality levels of incoming materials, manufactured components and finished products. Establishes overall quality levels and specifications; conducts audits of systems and products to assure compliance with corporate, customer and industry requirements. Supervises quality assurance personnel.
  • Execute all AS 9100C procedures to identify and drive resolution of process inefficiencies, product quality issues, and vendor and customer issues.
  • Is responsible for maintaining AS 9100 C training. Proactively participates in AS9100 C management review pertaining to all respective department responsibilities.
  • Manage internal audits
  • Work with quote launch, risk mitigation meetings to include evaluation of new product part #s to ensure compliance with to print requirements.
  • Manage and communicate quality data from multiple sources to assist in the risk management and risk-based decision processes to ensure PO compliance.
  • Manage the corrective and preventive action (CAPA), management review process, and internal quality audit programs
  • Manage Non-Conforming Material Reviews and MRB activities
  • Manage supplier audits, supplier approvals and supplier corrective actions

Required:

B.S. Business, Engineeringor related field. Not less than ten years previous electronic manufacturing experience. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Analytical problem solving required. Experience in Total Quality Management and process improvement.
