Job Title: Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology The nationally accredited cancer care program at a prominent Cancer Care Institute in Davenport, IA, is seeking a dedicated Board Eligible/Board Certified Medical Physicist. Join a collaborative team-focused healthcare environment committed to providing exceptional patient care and treatment in the field of radiation oncology. Job Responsibilities: Provide safe therapeutic radiological physics to the Radiation Oncology Department. Ensure equipment safety, quality patient care, and contribute to educational activities per regulatory and medical community standards. Oversee treatment procedures, patient-specific QA, chart QA, and linear accelerator QA. Perform calibration and commissioning of linear accelerators and other radiation sources. Participate in plan checks and implement new technologies as needed. Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and therapists. Work within a multidisciplinary team comprising physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and medical staff. Qualifications: Master s or PhD in Radiology/Radiological Sciences. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Therapeutic Medical Physics. Must be or willing to become registered in Iowa as a Radiation Therapy Physicist. Clean malpractice history. Excellent team collaboration and communication skills. Willingness to stay current with advancements in radiation oncology. License and Certification Requirements: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP).
