**Description**
Under direct supervision, you will:
* Help collect, prepare, and organize data and information on research or contracting activities in state departments of transportation (DOTs).
* Prepare charts and preliminary analysis to support interviews with research and engineering stakeholders.
* Contribute to a literature review and desk scan on transportation engineering research efforts.
* Support other project tasks as necessary.

Additionally, upon graduation, interns with outstanding performance frequently move into full-time positions at ARA.
**Requirements:**
* Must be pursuing study in civil engineering, construction management, urban planning, business, or public administration. Course experience in transportation-specific programs preferred.
* Must be available and willing to work during the school year and during summer months as needed.
* Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity with database design is preferred.
