**Description**

**The Retail Sales Associates main responsibilities include:**

* Acknowledging, greeting, and helping customers in any area of the store

* Assisting customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner by answering questions or directing them to a supervisor

* Using a cash register to total sales, accept payments for merchandise, and give correct change

* Accepting and preparing donations for the sales floor, which includes tagging items, stocking store shelves, and hanging clothes

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment in the store, which includes general housekeeping duties and straightening merchandise

**Qualifications**

* One year of Retail experience is preferred.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Prolonged standing and walking with frequent bending, stooping and stretching.

* Frequent lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds is required.

* Friendly, outgoing, and dependable.

**Additional Information**

* Part-time position up to 28 hours per week

* The successful candidate must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History, Pennsylvania Criminal History and Department of Human Services- FBI.
