ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by proper personnel.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract prospective students who align with the university's mission and values. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the admissions team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Recruitment Events: Oversee the coordination and execution of recruitment events, including open houses, campus tours, preview days, and Scholarship Day, to engage prospective students and their families. Application Review: Review and evaluate applications, ensuring a holistic approach that considers academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and spiritual maturity. Outreach and Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with high schools, churches, and community organizations to expand the university's reach and strengthen enrollment pipelines. Financial Aid Counseling: Collaborate with the financial aid office to provide prospective students and their families with accurate and timely information about financial aid options and scholarships. Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to track recruitment and enrollment trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Admissions Policies: Stay informed about best practices in admissions and higher education policy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards. Student Support: Serve as a resource for admitted students, offering guidance and support throughout the enrollment process and transition to university life. Christian Leadership: Integrate the university's focus on Jesus Christ into all aspects of the admissions process, fostering an environment with staff and students that promotes spiritual growth and engagement.
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as a senior member of the Enrollment Management Team reporting directly to the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides strategic oversight, daily operation, coordination, direction, and evaluation to the staff of the Office of Admissions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years experience in sales, admissions, marketing, or enrollment management Ability to hire and train employees with a passion for coaching employees towards individual and team growth. Strong commitment to the mission and values of Spring Arbor University with the ability to articulate and promote the university's distinctive identity. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic recruitment plans. Proven sales or recruitment experience. Proficiency in using data and technology to make decisions and achieve goals. Individuals will exhibit a life and service that is in full accord with the Spring Arbor University Concept and Community Covenant.
