Utilizing the time-honored practice of Eight Limbs of Patanjali with Five Pillars of Wellness (Mindfulness, Nutrition, Fitness, Relaxation and Sleep), Amrit's 24/7 Personal Wellness Advisors work with guests to identify their Personalized Roadmap to Wellness. Amrit's two towers, Peace and Happiness comprise 182 wellness residents, 153 wellness resort suites including 30 destination spa suites, chlorine free pools, natural bistro with teaching kitchen, farm to table restaurant, meeting/celebration space, hair-health full service salon, outdoor activities/experiences and 100,000 sf of wellness and spa spread over four floors indoors and out. Overview:

The Jeevi barista will prepare and serve coffee, teas, juices, smoothies and other beverages to customers. Our barista is responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and efficient service.

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
  1. Guest Experience and Service:

    • Greet guests as they enter
    • Take orders accurately.
    • Answer customer questions and provide information about menu items, specialty coffee blends, and preparation methods.
    • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism.
  2. Beverage Preparation:

    • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
    • Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
    • Ensure beverages are made to the guests' specifications.
  3. Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu offerings, including seasonal and promotional items.
    • Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
  4. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and restock inventory, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
    • Report shortages and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
  5. Cleanliness and Maintenance:

    • Keep the work area, equipment, and customer areas clean and organized.
    • Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
    • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of coffee machines and other equipment.
  6. Cash Handling:

    • Operate the cash register, handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
    • Balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
Qualifications: Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for operating coffee machines and other equipment.
Working Conditions:
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
