**This Position is Eligible for a Sign-On Bonus of $2,000**

$1,000 payable onnext scheduled paycheck following 30 days of employmentand

$1,000 payable at the completion of the conditional employment period which is typically six months in length.

Sign-On Bonus payment will be subject to required payroll taxes

Must work 20 or more hours per week to be eligible

Employee must be in good standing and active status to be eligible for payment

Salary Commensurate With Experience

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Performs advanced (senior-level) managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning. Work involves establishing the strategic plan and goals and objectives; developing policies, procedures, and guidelines; establishing priorities, standards, and measurement tools for determining progress in meeting goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities and/or business functions; and reviewing and approving budgets within departments or divisions. Supervises the work of others. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Trains department/clinic managers on contract requirements and guidelines of services as outlined by the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) and ensures contract /TAC changes are cascaded to the appropriate staff. Provides oversight to ensure said changes are implemented timely and accurately.
  • Assists in the development and review of divisional policy & procedure.
  • Oversees monthly reports to monitor and evaluate that services are delivered in accordance with required guidelines and Center policies.
  • Performs quality assurance activities to ensure services are aligned with Center policy, TAC requirements, and contract requirements.
  • Monitors financial compliance of all grant programming and assists the Director of Behavioral Health with budget development.
  • Assists the Director of Behavioral Health with special projects, program implementations, and divisional trainings.
  • Assists the BH Director in training, developing, supervising, monitoring, and evaluating management staff.
  • Compiles data, creates reports, and provides presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluates staffing needs for assigned departments and ensures positions are posted and hired in compliance with Center procedures and time lines.
  • Participates in the Behavioral Health Continuous Quality Improvement Committee, assists in identifying program deficits, plans corrective action plans and/or improvement initiatives, assists in implementation, and assists in monitoring and evaluation of action plans.
  • Co-facilitates with the BH Director monthly BH management meetings.
  • May be assigned to represent CCS and participate in internal or external committee meetings, work groups, and coalitions.
  • May fill in for management vacancies as needed.
  • Networks with community partners to include providers, schools, hospitals, and other community resources.
  • Demonstrate high ethical standards, trustworthiness, and personal integrity. Regular attendance, dependability, and promptness are required for the 8-5 workday or agreed upon hours 100% of the time, to ensure consistency and completeness of program's processes.
  • Professional Development - Successfully complete training required to maintain skill competency and cross training to ensure consistency across program procedures. Complete continuing education as required by professional standards and the Center.
  • Occasional driving within and outside the catchment area is required.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education/Licensing/Certification
  • Master's Degree or higher required.
  • Clinically licensed as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LP.
  • Three or more years of related experience in community behavioral health in a leadership capacity required.
  • Experience and education may not be substituted for one another.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary is also required.
