Your responsibilities include: + Managing various HR functions such as recruitment, training, employee relations, compensations, health and safety, payroll, and HRIS system management. + Experience in managing in a union environment. + Conducting full-cycle recruiting, from job postings to new employee orientation, and managing onboarding activities. + Administering payroll processes for both hourly and salaried staff on a weekly and semimonthly basis. + Providing ongoing employee training in areas like health and safety, performance management, and recognition. + Ensuring a positive work environment by organizing employee activities and events. + Administering company leave programs and managing worker's compensation claims, ensuring compliance with employment laws. + Maintaining HR analytic reports and assisting in employee training & development processes. + Supporting the implementation and consistent application of human resources policies. + Managing HR projects at the plant level and facilitating timely communication of HR memos, programs, and policies. **About You:** You’ll fit right in if you have: + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills. + Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Basic knowledge/experience in Lean operating systems and ability to work flexible hours. + Proficiency in HRIS, Kronos, and payroll systems, along with excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). + Experience in conducting employee investigations and knowledge of employment laws and regulations. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision. + Minimum of 3 years of related Human Resources and labor relations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. + PHR/SPHR certification preferred + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
