The

Availability Planner

will manage finished goods inventory levels by creating production schedules for our factories. The Availability Planner will interact with manufacturing, sales, customer success, and purchasing team members. This role will support activities to plan and manage inventory to support on-time customer delivery while maintaining operations productivity. RectorSeal manufactures and distributes a variety of mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for creating production forecasts by item by month for finished goods in our manufacturing facilities Creates manufacturing Work Orders by item in JDE for manufacturing to assemble to ensure inventory coverage for sales Daily communication with manufacturing is needed to ensure that manufacturing capacity is being utilized Managed finished goods inventory for targeted WKS Utilize ERP for production planning decisions Assist in analyzing sales forecasts to actuals to assist in future production needs Contribute/Communicate any pertinent customer information on weekly PSI calls Communicate with the Customer Success Team to review outlier orders and forecast them. This includes working closely with the international team to prepare manufactured products/inventory for containers/shipments Required Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent two years plus experience in a similar role Keen attention to detail is a must Statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Able to recognize and resolve problems Must be organized with the ability to plan and coordinate multiple tasks Strong sense of financial accountability Understanding of manufacturing systems and processes Preferred Requirements: College degree or working towards a degree. Preferably in the Supply Chain Management field or including APICS certification. two years plus experience in a role within a batch/chemical manufacturing environment Current knowledge and experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP Preference will be given to applicants that reside in Houston, Texas and Dallas, Texas Office:
