Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the administration of company policies and practices, payroll, benefits, and leaves, along with providing HR administrative support.

Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees on a biweekly schedule
  • Maintain employee and payroll records to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll taxes, social security, and other government-mandated reports
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, payroll procedures and policies
  • Develop and maintain payroll procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to manage compliance
  • Administer various employee related benefit programs such as health insurance, FMLA, paid time off, employee recognitions, etc.
  • Generate and distribute reports as required or requested.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding efforts, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Assist with creating a positive work environment by participating in various employee related activities and committees
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Address employment-related inquiries from all parties, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Human Resources Generalist Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in human resource
  • A minimum of three years of experience in payroll administration
  • One to three years of experience in Human Resource
  • Solid knowledge of payroll, HR laws and regulations
  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-tasks
  • Able to communicate effectively written or orally with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
