Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Company: Center City Pharmacy Location: West Palm Beach, FL Schedule: Full-Time General Information Job Hours: Available Shifts — 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am Position Overview Center City Pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support aseptic production of high-risk sterile preparations (Category 3 CSPs) in full compliance with USP and internal SOPs. This role requires precision, strong aseptic technique, and experience working in a sterile cleanroom environment. Key Responsibilities Compound Category 3 CSPs using aseptic technique in ISO 5 PECs located in an ISO 7 cleanroom. Prepare, label, and package sterile vials, syringes, and bags according to formulas and SOPs. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly PEC cleanings and cleanroom sanitation per USP . Accurately complete all calculations, measurements, and sterile production documentation. Maintain strict control of environmental and workflow cleanliness to ensure sterility. Assist with required media fills, gloved fingertip testing, and competency assessments. Manage inventory, verify COAs, record lot numbers, and conduct FIFO rotation. Support pharmacists and operations leadership as needed. Qualifications Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (required). Sterile compounding experience preferred, ideally in high-risk or advanced sterile environments. Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and cleanroom workflow.
