Responsibilities Coordinate the work of the power design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance Coordinate workload to complete deliverables on schedule Conduct site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines Review project documents for conflicts with other disciplines Write and edit project specifications Coordinate with affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, change orders, and incorporate changes into project documents Provide construction contract administration as needed Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Engineers, Project Coordinators or Designers, or BIM Technicians as needed Perform other duties as needed Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Engineering 6+ years of detailed electrical design experience Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm and hydropower generation is highly preferred Experience with data analysis software related to electrical engineering is preferred Experience with software such as SKM PowerTools for Windows, EasyPower, Matlab, and Visual Basic Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit) Active participation in an employee-owned culture What We Believe HDR is a company built on diverse life experiences and perspectives to deliver great outcomes for clients and communities.
