Pantry Supervisor
SUMMARY OF BASIC JOB FUNCTION:
The Cleary University Pantry Supervisor role will involve performing meal-prep activities, ensuring food plating is visually appealing, and maintaining cleanliness in your station. You will also work as a team with others to ensure a clean and quality buffet. Replace low or empty containers on the buffet with clean containers full of fresh products. Serve food at proper temperatures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
- Proven ability to read and understand recipes.
- Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for working in the kitchen.
- Actively represents the Cleary University to students.
- Proven knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Demonstrates excellent guest service skills and an ability to give appropriate service recovery.
- Actively participates in meetings.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma; experience in prep and service.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals and write routine reports. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
