Overview We are looking for full-time Housekeepers to join our Environmental Services Team. Responsibilities Performs housekeeping and related activities with the focus on patient exam and inpatient rooms, surgery, utilities, and the general environment. Continuously demonstrates proficiency in basic cleaning skills used in patient, staff, office, clinic, or visitor areas. Demonstrates knowledge and skill in the safe use of chemicals, equipment, cleaning techniques and infection control methods to meet established quality standards. Maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, in appearance and infection control terms. Demonstrates competence in the safe handling and removal of medical and hazardous waste. Shift information: Day Shift, Evening & Night Shift with alternating weekends; Benefits Eligible; Full Time (80 hours per two week pay period). Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. A demonstration of this ability is required. Required Credentials: N/A. Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent experience. One year of previous institutional cleaning experience, preferably in a hospital or hospitality environment. One year of customer service experience. Vocational training and certificate. Compensation and Benefits Compensation Range: $20.76 - $29.59 per hour. Salary Information: This compensation range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours per year). Offers are determined by equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
