Chief Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas Pay: $86k-$110k/yearly

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our client's team. As a Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of engineering operations within the organization. This includes leading a team of engineers, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the efficient operation of all mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff. Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize building performance and efficiency. Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and building codes. Collaborate with other departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives. Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering or facilities management field. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer license) are a plus.
