Job Summary

Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the part-time (Student Only) position of Financial Aid Assistant. This position will support the financial aid department with projects and document management.

Job Duties:

  • General office duties: organizing, copying, scanning, filing, data entry.
  • Help students complete FAFSA, Work Ready Kentucky scholarship application set up FSA ID
  • Other similar duties as assigned.

    Work Hours: Daytime, Monday - Friday, flexible
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, scanner, copier.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team member and independently.
  • Must be dependable, accurate and professional.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in an office is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.


Preferred Qualifications:

The Federal Work-Study Program provides funding for part-time employment to qualifying students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), are enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Gateway and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS.
