If you're dedicated, dependable and driven to deliver exceptional guest service, this is a place for youWhat you get to do:Perform all functions of general paint work for in-park painting services while ensuring a safe environment for guests and employeesUtilize application methods, airless spray, conventional spray equipment, brush and roller applicationsPerform pressure washing; assemble, dismantle scaffoldingPerform tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park operational guidelines; organize and plan daily workload without direct supervisionSelect proper materials for jobsMaintain cleanliness in the paint shop and storage areasDependable performance in terms of attendance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirementsDirect painting team in shop supervisors absence and communicate with park leadership.Perform other miscellaneous duties as requiredWhat It Takes To Suceed:Have at least one year of onsite experience or equivalent experience in the painting fieldHave experience working with chemical and hazardous wasteAbility to obtain a company driver's license including high reach and forklift licensesHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsBe comfortable building and working on scaffolding up to 24ftBe able to pass a respirator fit testHave basic mathematical skillsBe comfortable working at heights up to 385ftAbility to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistanceBe able to climb and work off of laddersHave paint and body experienceHave experience in fiberglass repairs, applying polyester bondo and refinishingBe familiar with Mach and Sata HVLP automotive spray gunsAbility to work under and meet tight deadlinesBe comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrationsBe comfortable working around fumes/dust/odorAbility to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremesAbility to train on and properly use protective gearAvailable to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shiftsWhat Else Is Important:Valid state driver's license preferredBase coat/clear coat and single stage preferredExperience in other maintenance fields preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredThe perks of the position:Paid Time OffComplimentary Park Tickets and PassesPark Discounts on Food and MerchandiseMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K Retirement planVoluntary InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability BenefitsTuition ReimbursementDependent and Health Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramLegal Assistance PlanEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
