Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational knowledge in cybersecurity, demonstrate excellent written communication skills, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role involves running phishing campaigns, delivering vulnerability reports, conducting vulnerability assessments, and supporting compliance gap assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Phishing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and analyze phishing simulations for our customers. Provide detailed reports on the outcomes and advise on best practices for phishing prevention.
  • Vulnerability Reporting: Generate comprehensive vulnerability reports for customers, explaining the findings in clear, non-technical language. Offer actionable recommendations for remediation and support customers in implementing these measures.
  • Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments using various tools and methodologies. Identify security weaknesses and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance Gap Assessments: Assist in coordinating compliance gap assessments, taking detailed notes, and compiling findings into coherent reports. Work with senior analysts to ensure that compliance requirements are met and improvements are implemented.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Some experience in the information security field, preferably in roles involving vulnerability assessments, phishing campaigns, or compliance.
  • Communication: Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
  • Confidence and Independence: Exude confidence when interacting with clients and internal teams. An independent thinker capable of solving problems effectively and autonomously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management tools, and phishing simulation platforms.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in conducting assessments, documenting findings, and delivering reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team environment, coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar.
  • Experience with common vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
