Our client a private company that is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role is a very important role within the accounting department. It is the second accounting role and will directly support the CFO. The company is budgeting to grow rapidly over the next several years. In fact, the budget is aggressive and the company is looking to double over that time frame. This role would be great for a career minded individual who is seeking to put in the work to help and assist in putting the structure within the accounting function of a rapidly growing company. The company will offer career advancement plus the rapidly development of skills. The company is very stable and is offering solid benefits. 

The responsibilities include: 

  • Supervise staff in the preparation of monthly financial statements, and other financial reporting activities.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function.
  • Perform various analyses and ad hoc projects as directed by the CFO.
  • Manage the Treasury and Cash Management function.
  • Assist the Controller with the organization’s independent auditors to complete the annual financial audit.
  • Assist the Controller reviewing and analyzing financial data.
  • Assist Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the preparation of organization’s Annual Operating Budget
  • Manage inventory accounting.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience  in an accounting role
  • Accounting or Finance degree 
  • CPA a plus but not required
  • Strong Excel Skills - Pivots - V-Lookups
