Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Intern will assist with the completion of special projects in areas of HR Strategy, Onboarding, Performance Evaluation, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefit Market Analysis and Benefit Promotion.

The Human Resources Intern position is an exciting opportunity to learn side-by-side with experienced HR professionals, within a busy healthcare organization. Skills learned during this internship will benefit an individual as they look to break into a meaningful role upon graduating.

Essential functions:

  • Responsibilities may include supporting tasks for projects within the HR Business Partner team in the areas of business strategy, organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy and planning, talent acquisition, compensation, and/or employee relations.
  • Assist in the design and creation of training and communications materials (e.g. training videos, PowerPoint presentations, engaging emails).
  • Assist in engagement efforts and employee activities to build upon our team and company culture.
  • Audit and provide support during onboarding process to ensure seamless new hire experience.
  • Maintains employee data information in HRIS. Conduct or assist with conducting job classification, job descriptions, and other audits as needed.
  • Perform all duties in keeping with the Companys core values, policies and all applicable regulations.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and currently enrolled in Associate or Bachelor Degree Program with a concentration in Human Resources, Health-care Administration, Business Administration, or similar field of study required

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Software applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter and can work with little direction.
  • Solid academic track record of accomplishment
